Food machinery is referring to the machine used for processing,manufacturing,packing, storage and transportation for a various of type of food. It plays a key role in the food supply chain. There are several classifies food machine for different function and purpose, pre-processing machinery, processing machinery, forming machinery, filling machinery, sealing machinery and packing machinery. In recently years,With the development of technology and increasing of market demands,the food machinery are developing to the direction of more intelligent, high efficient and environmentally friendly.

        Fully food package machine is high automatic equipment in the food package machine industry, it is inevitable there will be some problem happened in the running process. There are two main reason which cause the problem.

The production environment site is not good enough

        1.The high temperature and high humidity has the impact on the machine (22±2℃ is the optimal temperature, and the relative humidity is 55~60%). In the high temperature and high humidity environment, the machinery original fit would be changed due to the expansion of the parts.  It would resulting in the loose fit or aggravated wear. The life of the machine will be greatly affected, especially for slides made of non-metallic materials.

        2.The excessive dust also has negative impact on the machine. If the equipment is in a dusty environment for a long time, when dust falls on the moving components, the components are very likely to over-wear or loose fit, there would causing the uncoordinated in the different components.

        3.The default quatity caused by the packing materials.

        The packing materials quality is not enough good also cause the default of the machine running. Such as, The tension cannot meet the required requirements,Causing insufficient overlapping band width in molding; Loose packaging, or the appearance does not meet the requirements.

Types and solutions of faults in fully automatic food packaging machines

Food packaging equipment failures generally manifest in three aspects: transmission failures, material and product transportation failures, and product missing failures.

Equipment transmission failures.

      The manifestation of the transmission is system failure and loss of synchronization in mechanism operation, etc.

      This type of malfunction is usually caused by improper operation, equipment vibration causing fasteners to loosen. Once occurred, it often causes significant damage to the equipment and long downtime. Therefore, such malfunctions must be resolutely prevented before occurring.The main measures are to strictly follow operating procedures, strengthen equipment maintenance, and eliminate faults in their early stages.

The malfunction of Packaging raw and auxiliary materials and products transportation.

Failures mainly include failures in which products are blocked in the transportation channel. In addition to the reasons for the raw and auxiliary materials themselves mentioned above, the causes of this type of failure include improper adjustment of the equipment’s channel size and dirt in the running channel. After a failure occurs, the equipment can be automatically controlled to stop and manual operation can be performed, which poses a safety risk.

Product missing malfunction

        Because of the adaptability of the raw materials and products being transported and packaged, the machine does not stop during packaging, but there are missing or increased products after packaging.

        At this time, multiple lines of should be set up in the following process for control .Also, the equipment should keep same pace for it’s action and with others part of the line.

        Maintenance personnel should be familiar with the working principle of the equipment and be good at adjustment, and make regular corrections to ensure effective work before the failure frequency occurs.
